Hello My Sweet Friends!
I know that if you have taken time to read this you are truly a friend of mine! In the busy world we live in there are many things to consume your time. Thank you for letting me be part of your day!
Fresh Start is the topic for this season of my life and ministry.
As believers we are told in God's word to set our eyes on Him (Psalm 16:8) and He will direct us. As a Pastors wife and mother of three I often feel like I live in a windstorm of tasks and never ending daily prep. Often it is just housework, laundry, packing lunches, making dinner or studying spelling but it all swirls in this massive wave of craziness. In that wave of motherly work I often lose sight of the AMAZING people God has given me to love and serve.
So I have made myself a notebook of ACTIONS!!!
Starting this week Action 1:
Stop and see my families faces and hearts, not the work at hand.
They need my love more than a fancy lunch or clean gym shorts!
(Galatians 6:9 Let us not grow weary in well doing)
As we start our week this week try not to get bogged down in the windstorm...if it gets too windy FLY A KITE with your kids! LOL
Put down the laundry basket and wrestle on the floor, or play Hide and Seek.
I have talked to family and friends and we all seem to need a FRESH START!
Take a moment today to say...what step could I do today to step back and enjoy life more.

Then take it a step forward and make an ACTION step. Challenge yourself to do it. I promise it will make a difference and it is WORTH it!
(Thank you John Palmer for the challenge to take an action step!)
In His love and mercies everyday,
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, His mercies never end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. (ESV, Holy Bible)
